This elegant memorial ornament is lightweight yet substantial, making it a beautiful display piece for year-round remembrance. Each ornament is crafted from genuine mother of pearl sourced from abalone shell and measures approximately 4" long. Because each piece is carved by hand from a natural shell, every ornament is truly one of a kind, with its own beautiful variations in color, texture, and shape.

Your ornament can be personalized with a white and gold enamel initial charm in an elegant uppercase typewriter font (12mm), or a custom-engraved ½" gold brass charm. Our team engraves each one to order, adding a deeply personal touch.

Each laurelbox is shipped in our signature packaging, which includes crinkle paper and a gift message inside our high quality beautiful shipping box (no receipts or billing information is ever included!). Gifts purchased individually are shipped in one shipping box per order.

Please note that we do not offer the option to put a laurelbox inside a separate shipping box, so your gift will be packaged in the laurelbox shipping box that has gone through your postal service. But rest assured... that shipping box is beautiful and part of what makes laurelbox special!

Most laurelboxes ship after a processing period of:

1–3 business days for standard orders
7–10 business days for international orders

Our offices are closed—and do not ship—on Federal Holidays.

Shipping time begins after your order has been processed. Once your package leaves our office, carriers deliver on the approximate timelines below:

Even if a package arrives later than expected, we know your recipient will still feel deeply remembered by your gesture. If your package is lost in transit, our shipping insurance fully covers a replacement laurelbox.

Each and every laurelbox includes a complimentary card. During checkout, you can add a gift message. Please note that we only offer one card per order. Additional cards are available for $3 per card. My mother-in-law sadly lost both of her parents this year and I wanted to get a memorial ornament that wasn't blatantly in memoriam. I just wanted something subtle that could pass as a regular ornament so she wouldn't have to discuss the loss of her parents with new guests. This ornament was perfect! It's gorgeous, and since my MIL is a somewhat discerning woman, I felt this would be satisfactory for her. I was totally right, and I highly recommend this to anyone with similar needs!

This is an incredibly beautiful and unique ornament. Because it is hand carved mother of pearl, you can see the second you open the (exceptionally well-packed) box, that you’ve purchased a true piece of art. In just one word, it’s exquisite, and I have no regrets buying it for myself. It’s pricier than what I would typically spend, but now that I’ve held it in my hands, I would have paid more.
I chose to purchase the optional white charm (which I didn’t realize was 2-sided), because I bought this in memory of my 33-year old son who passed away a few weeks ago.
When this Angel wing is no longer being used as a Christmas ornament, it will hang somewhere else in my home as a gentle tribute to my son.

We have experienced our own loss nearly 3 months ago. I received one of your windchimes. I love it so much. Since loosing our son and going through this grief journey we unfortunately keep experiencing grief and loss through so many around us. These gifts are lovely, so personal and special.
